Landis Construction had the pleasure of hosting the official groundbreaking for the Esplanade Delille Apartments on March 20. This project is a mixed-use, mixed-income housing development that includes a four-story apartment building with 40 units, two retail spaces for locally owned businesses, a fitness room, community room, and a bike room. Our team is also building two camelback residences with five units each, a community park, and gated off-street parking. This project is being built to meet Fortified Gold and Enterprise Green Communities standards.
When finished, these apartments will provide affordable housing that’s connected to the French Quarter, Marigny, Seventh Ward, and Treme. This initiative represents an all-hands-on-deck effort by public and private partners from across New Orleans, including city officials, the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority, New Orleans Restoration Properties, Louisiana Housing Corporation, Housing Authority of New Orleans, Finance New Orleans, First Horizon Bank, Boston Capital Finance, and HRI Communities.
