YAYA Arts Center

When Landis completed the new studio for YAYA Arts Center in 2015, it provided the organization with its own home after 25 years. Located on LaSalle Street in Central City, the studio includes a community center with educational, social, and artistic resources primarily for area families, artists, and youth. The timeline to complete this project was incredibly fast-paced. Still, Landis completed the center on schedule and under budget through various cost-saving solutions presented to the owner. The front of the building serves as commercial space for art showings and administrative use, as well as the community center, while the back of the building is utilized for glass-blowing activities.
