St. Charles General Hospital – Patient Care Expansion

Landis finished the 54,000-square-foot addition to the existing St. Charles Parish Hospital in 2008. Each floor of the hospital was designed and constructed with a particular focus in mind. The first floor serves as a multi-faceted space housing the Cardiology Rehabilitation Center, the Courtyard Café, the chapel, the Outpatient Dialysis Unity, a Medical Office Suite, and the relocated and expanded Intensive Care Unit (ICU); tying into both the neighboring Medical Office Building and the existing hospital building. The second floor of the new Patient Care Center included 31 private Medical-Surgery rooms, and the third floor contained the relocated Adult Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit comprised of 20 private patient rooms.
