Landis completed the expansion of the existing Physical Activity Center at Nunez Community College in 2015. The new and improved space serves as a multi-purpose facility, accommodating a variety of exercise equipment and machines to support the college’s various health and fitness programs. The project involved approximately 2,400 square feet of new construction, including support spaces such as an administrative office, equipment storage, and restrooms incorporated throughout. The scope also included the renovation of several areas throughout the existing building. Finally, state-of-the-art audio/visual systems, including video projection, LED monitors, and sound system, we incorporated to enhance existing classes and allow for new courses and programs for Nunez students.
From post-bid construction analysis through final punchlist completion, Landis worked diligently with our firm to build an exemplary new school, one which impressed the client enough to become the RSD’s prototype design for future elementary schools. Based on working with Landis Construction over several decades, I do not hesitate to highly recommend Landis for your upcoming construction projects.
