Over the years, Landis Construction has undoubtedly touched each and every person in this room whether you know it or not. From the 1984 World's Fair, Aquarium of the Americas IMAX Theatre, Jax Brewery, and Harrah's Casino to the repairs of Xavier University after the federal flood of 2005, we all have been touched by this influence. In an era of cut-throat corporate expansion, they staked their future on relationships—relationships that were maintained through even the toughest disasters and beyond.
on average through innovative solutions
We value the safety, well-being, and development of our subcontractors and select those partnerships not only for the actual construction, but also for each project’s community-focused goals, which has been a driving element of our success. In these relationships, we're in it for the long haul.
We maintain an overwhelmingly positive and growing connection with local DBE, WBE, and Section 3 businesses. We have consistently met and exceeded project goals, because to Landis Construction these partnerships are more than just a prerequisite; they are good business and stewardship.
We continue to ensure that DBE firms are afforded maximum opportunity to participate in our projects. Landis is dedicated to fostering the development of economic opportunities to DBEs. Our efforts in securing DBE participation has been instrumental in assisting these business entities in becoming successful in an increasingly competitive market and in participating in the construction activities associated with large-scale projects throughout the region.
"Since our working relationship began, we have come to recognize that Landis Construction has been a great partner in giving opportunities not only to us but to other DBE firms in the area as well. Landis is dedicated to the renewal and rebirth of our great city and community. They take great pride in their involvement and sharing in the accomplishments of DBE firms, and we are honored and grateful to have them as a partner."
—Tulio R. Murillo, Jr. President,
CMC Drywall
Safety is our number one priority, and we create a site-specific safety plan for every project. We have partnered with Engineering Safety Consultants (ESC) to oversee all safety aspects of the company, including safety reviews and other key services.
Landis not only tracks our OSHA recordable safety stats, but we also track near-miss incidents so as to always improve our safety record.
Landis remains committed to three primary causes: youth opportunity in our city, introducing youth to careers in construction, and creating opportunity for women in the trades.
WE SEEK OPPORTUNITIES TO SUPPORT AND ENHANCE OUR COMMUNITY WHILE TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WORLD IN WHICH WE LIVE.
