About Landis

Since its inception more than 60 years ago, Landis Construction has been a respected leader in the construction industry across the Greater New Orleans region and throughout Southeast Louisiana. Fred Landis founded the company in 1956 and was succeeded by his son James (Jim) Landis, who immediately began learning the trade working on job sites digging ditches and carrying lumber. Following Fred's passing in 1976, his widow Evelyn Landis preserved the company's family leadership by becoming chairman of the board before Jim assumed control in 1978 as President and CEO.

Third-generation CEO Anne Teague Landis began learning the company's administrative side as young as her father did the building side, working in the office during her summer breaks. When Anne Teague joined the team permanently in 2008, she began working side-by-side with her father to learn the business' ins and outs before officially taking over the reins as Chief Executive Officer in 2015.

Today, Landis continues to service an expansive portfolio of clients under Anne Teague's leadership, attributing its longevity and success to the dedication of its employees and meaningful relationships with clients, subcontractors, and community partners.
