NEW ORLEANS – Construction on St. Bernard Circle Apartments, across from Circle Food Store in Orleans Parish, is currently underway after breaking ground on October 25.
Permits have been issued for the construction of the 53,485-square-foot, four-story, multifamily development, which will also feature two retail spaces and a landscaped community park. The 51-unit development is slated to provide more affordable housing and has been recognized by the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA), the Housing Authority of New Orleans (HANO), and the City as an important development. Landis Construction is the contractor on the development.
