Second Line Stages

Landis proudly completed construction on the first green film studio in the United States and the first Hollywood-standard soundstage complex in the New Orleans metro area, Second Line Stages. The project envelops an entire block in the Lower Garden District, including four existing buildings and construction of a new five-story building. The campus is comprised of a 90,000 sq. ft. facility encompassing three soundstages; 18,000 sq. ft. of production support space; 30,000 square feet of production area, dressing room, casting, wardrobe, and conference space; a 50 seat digital screening theater and a rooftop terrace showcasing spectacular views of the Mississippi River and downtown New Orleans. Under the U. S. Green Building Council’s guidelines, the project achieved LEED Gold Certification.
